Prawn on the Barbie

But then, the Brits keep coming up with more oddities, too:

This sculpture on Plymouth's Barbican, named by its creators as the Plymouth Sea Monster, was immediately dubbed the Prawn on the Barbie when it was unveiled in 1996.
